Small-Batch Menswear Manufacturer

For boutique brands that want premium production without 500-unit commitments

Most manufacturers in Turkey and abroad require 300-500 units per style. That breaks new brand launches and forces boutique retailers to over-commit. Savas Textile reserves a portion of our atelier capacity for small-batch work — 25-100 unit runs at honest pricing.

Why most manufacturers won't touch 50-unit orders. Pattern set-up, sample making, and machine reconfiguration are fixed costs. Spread across 500 units, they disappear into the unit cost. Spread across 50 units, they double the per-unit price. Most factories simply refuse rather than charge what 50 units would actually require.

How we make small batches viable. Three things: we hold pattern libraries from past production we can adapt rather than re-engineer; we run small batches in parallel with larger orders using the same fabric/setup; we charge a transparent small-batch surcharge (typically 15-25% over standard pricing) instead of refusing.

Our small-batch MOQs. Shirts: 50 units per style/colorway (typical industry 200). Blazers: 25 units per style/colorway (typical 100). Suits: 30 units per style/fit/colorway (typical 50-100). Leather jackets: 25 units per style/colorway (typical 50). These are our minimums, not our suggestions — most successful partners scale up after their first season.

Who small-batch is and isn't for. Right fit: new menswear brand launching first collection, boutique retailer testing a new house label, capsule collection for a partnership or event, replenishment of a tail-end SKU that's still selling. Wrong fit: department store base-program orders, multi-store retailer's core SKU production, anything where unit cost matters more than flexibility.

Buyer Questions

What's the smallest order you'll accept?
25 units per style/colorway for blazers and leather jackets, 30 for suits, 50 for shirts. Anything below is case-by-case (typically only for repeat customers).
Is small-batch pricing 50% more expensive than bulk?
No — typically 15-25% surcharge over standard wholesale. Far less than dedicated boutique manufacturers charge.
Can I order 5 units to test fabric?
That's a sample order, not production. Sample lead time 2-3 weeks. Samples are billed but credited against your first production order.
